These rather new nests that learn thermostat surfaces will make your temperature controller a work of art

  • Google has launched new faces to Nest Learning Thermostat (4. Gen)
  • The highlight is a subtle animated botanical face that changes each month
  • The faces are available now through your Nest Thermostat’s settings menu

Google has launched a new set of faces for Nest Learning Thermostat (4th gen), with botanical illustrations and subtle animation to make the slim thermostat look like a piece of wall art.

The new faces are used on the thermostat’s FARSight screen that appears when there is activity within 20ft. When you move within approx. 3ft, the view changes to show the current measurement temperature, time, room temperature, analog or digital time and date or weather depending on which settings you have chosen. Google’s support site provides a full overview of how the system works.
