Islamabad:

After a break of a few days, the tension along the western border flared again on Tuesday night when the Afghan Taliban and terrorists in the forbidden Tehreek-E-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) opened unprovoked fire in the Kurram sector.

According to security sources, the Pakistani army gave “a strong and effective answer” that caused great losses to the Taliban positions. As a result of the retirement of the army, fire broke out at several Taliban positions, and a number of enemy thoughts were destroyed.

A video clip showing a moving tank that was affected by precision was also shared on social media. The TTP operators of the Taliban and TTP later abandoned their positions and fled, leaving several bodies.

In the Khost area of Afghanistan, which shares the border with Kurram, the tank was placed at the Nargsar Post destroyed with its crew. Several members of the Taliban and TTP were killed inside the tank.

The Pakistani army also targeted the Taliban Tank position known as Shamshad Post. Later, the Taliban soldiers and TTP terrorists raised a white flag at a nearby border post.

The army also destroyed a tank with its crew on Turkmanzai Top. According to the sources, flames could be seen from the broken tank through night vision units (NVDs).

The Pakistani Army also targeted the training camp for TTP commander Naeem, who is opposite the Polsin Post, and destroyed it completely.

Security officials said there were reports of killing a key TTP-Fitna al-Khawarij coming during the matches, which continued until the filing of this report.

Afghan forces on Saturday night opened unprovoked fire in several places along the border-inclusive Angoor Adda, Bajaur, Kurram, DIR and chitral areas in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Zhob District in Balochistan Province.

The Pakistani army responded quickly and vigorously, and its retaliatory action resulted in death of 200 Taliban and TTP operatives. Twenty -three soldiers from the Pakistani army embraced martyrdom during the clashes.

The aggression of the Afghan side came at a time when Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi was on an official visit to India. After the confrontation, different countries, including Saudi -Arabia and Iran, called on the two countries to show restraint.

Afghanistan’s Taliban government accused Pakistan on Friday for Friday of having performed air strikes on his territory and warned of “consequences”. Islamabad said its patience with Kabul is running out without recognizing or refusing to perform the air strikes.

At a press conference on Friday, Director General General LT Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry “Reports from the Strikes (ISPR) Director -General LT Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.” To protect the people of Pakistan, we do and will continue to do what is needed. Our requirements for Afghanistan: Your land must not be used for terrorism against Pakistan, ”he added.

Islamabad accuses Afghanistan of failing to expel terrorists using Afghan territory of launching attacks on Pakistan, an accusation that Kabul authorities deny. TTP and its affiliated companies are behind most of the violence in Pakistan – largely aimed at security forces.

According to some experts, Pakistan has finally decided to change his policy with regard to the Afghan Taliban, as it emerged as the largest backman when they returned to power in August 2021.

On Monday, the Foreign Office fell a clear tip on Pakistan’s U-turn on the Afghan Taliban when it refrained from describing the Kabul administration as the Afghan temporary government, but referred to it as the “Taliban regime”-to question its legitimacy.

“Pakistan is the desire for a peaceful, stable, friendly, inclusive, regionally connected and prosperous Afghanistan. Pakistan expects the Taliban regime to act responsibly, honor his obligations and play a constructive role in achieving the common goal of eradicating terrorism from its earth.

“We also hope that the Afghan people will one day be released and they will be governed by a genuine representative government,” said the Foreign Office.
