Indian Telekomgigant Reliance Jio Tap Aptos to deliver Blockchain Rewards to 500 M Users

Indian Telecom Giant Reliance Jio is collaborating with the Aptos Foundation and Aptos Labs to bring blockchain-based rewards to its more than 500 million customers.

Jio, the country’s largest mobile network operator, plans to integrate Aptos’ Layer-1 Blockchain to distribute digital rewards through his telecom services. The move was announced by the company’s general manager and business manager, Pawas Chandra, at the “Aptos Experience” event.

APTOS is known for its high -speed infrastructure designed to handle heavy transaction loads, a necessary function for surgery in Jio’s massive scale. Per Chandra is the blockchain-based rewards now in a beta test phase, and “about” 9.4 million users experimenting with them.

Companies said the system will focus on applicability in the real world, not speculation. According to the announcement, the goal is to integrate blockchain into the practical aspects of daily digital life.

Aptos Labs provide the technical support needed to build and manage the platform.
