Free is a one-stop streaming service that offers British consumers a wide range of on-demand and live TV views, and its extensive catalog of channels is growing even more.
From 2026 will freely bring 10 new channels to its library, including Blaze, Bloomberg News, True Crime UK, AMC Reality, Movie Channel, as well as a number of channels taken into account different British locations – for example London TV, Liverpool TV, etc.
In addition to Freely’s next wave of free channels, ITV and Channel 5 have been tipped to launch their own subsidiary channels that group specific programs into a light access channel. This is likely to mimic Channel 4’s own channels in Frit, which landed just a few weeks ago, including 4Reality, 4Life and 4 Homes – but there is a new channel in particular that can be perfect for Cinephiles.
Among Freely’s next era with titles is Talking Pictures TV, which you can currently access on the Freeview Channel 82, Sky 328, Virgin Media 445, Freeesat 306 and YouView 82. Known for its 24 -hour playback of vintage and classic British movies and TV shows -Think John Wayne’s Brannigan (1974) and the original Thunderbirds Series-the free channel has become more and more popular in the free-to-air TV rich and finds a new home free next year.
Although it has only existed for almost two years, it has been freely emerging as one of the leading free streaming services for viewers and is considered a serious competitor against other British rivals Free Sky and Virgin TV – both of which are established entertainment services.
That being said, it is clear that despite the free already wide range of free channels, it is only just getting started and is always looking for ways to expand and grow its services.
Since the announcement, CEO of Everybody TV, Jonathan Thompson, has shared his enthusiasm for the company’s next venture, saying: ‘This latest round of content partners marks another step forward for free as we scale the platform for viewers and partners.
