Security forces killed 34 Khwarij linked to Indian Proxy Fitna Al Khwarij in several operations across Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa from 13 to 15 October.
According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement, an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was conducted in the general area of Spinwam, North Waziristan, which led to the dispatch of 18 terrorists to hell after an intense gunfight.
Fitna al-Khawarij is the term the state uses to refer to the banned militant outfit Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) since the May 2025 war with India.

Another IBO in South Waziristan district resulted in the neutralization of eight terrorists, while a separate encounter in Bannu district killed eight more, ISPR added.
The ISPR added that clearance operations are underway to eliminate any remaining terrorists in the area.

The operations are part of Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam” aimed at eliminating foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
Operation Azm-e-Istehkam aims to eradicate terrorism and extremism, coordinating armed forces and law enforcement efforts while addressing public concerns to curb extremist tendencies.
