Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have made a surprise move in their quest for peace and are reportedly enjoying a European holiday with Archie and Lilibet as their visit to the UK hangs in the balance after the latest update.

The Californian couple are said to be preferring to bring their children to Europe ahead of Harry’s planned trip to the UK in July, as their request for police protection remains pending.

The couple’s European move has fueled speculation about the UK tour, with reports suggesting they are revising plans to travel to the UK with the prince and princess.

The Sussexes were scheduled to spend five days in the UK, where the Duke and Duchess carried out several engagements in connection with Harry’s Invictus Games.

The latest report comes a day after King Charles’ emotional speech at the official opening of the seventh sitting of the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh, in which he paid tribute to local heroes.

Earlier, several media outlets and some royal commentators on social media reported that the former working royals and their children would reunite with the royals after being offered the royal residence from the palace.

But with no formal decision made on Harry’s security arrangements, the Duke is now unsure whether he will include his children.

The telegraph reported that while Meghan, Archie and Lilibet may not join their father for the entire trip, they could be flown in and out of the UK in a single day.

It added that their visit was likely to see them reunite with their grandfather, King Charles. It was also reported that the Duke of Sussex hoped to take his children to visit the grave of their late grandmother, Princess Diana.

The Duke of Sussex will begin his journey with an Invictus Games Foundation event at Chatham House, which will bring together experts, politicians and members of the Invictus Community to discuss issues affecting wounded, injured and ill service personnel and veterans.
