Jennifer Lopez gets candid about her biggest acting regret

Jennifer Lopez is honest about the role of ‘Unfaithful’

In dozens of films, Jennifer Lopez has proven her acting skills. Still, there is one film she turned down that ends up being her biggest acting regret.

“[Director] Adrian Lyne offered me Unfaithful,” she says, referring to the 2002 film starring Diane Lane, who earned an Academy Award nod for her performance as Connie Summer.

In the interview with Howard Stern, the pop icon further reveals that the script “wasn’t good” at first, but she credited the film’s director, who “then made it great.”

“And Diane Lane was nominated for an Oscar,” adds the 56-year-old. This prompts Howard to ask, “Is that hard to live with?”

“It’s funny. It haunts me,” J.Lo replies. “It kind of haunts me because it’s like the one I turned down.”

She continues: “It was like, ‘Why did you turn down working with Adrian Lyne? What were you thinking?’ I don’t know what was going through my mind at that time. Who knows what happened to me at that time?”

Meanwhile, Jennifer’s latest film, Spider-Woman’s Kissis in the cinema.
