- PlayStation: The Concert faces canceled venues across Europe in 2026
- Events in Germany, Belgium and Switzerland have been withdrawn
- The show must contain music from PlayStation titles such as The God of War, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushimaand more
PlayStation: The Concert, an official music event celebrating the brand’s 30th anniversary, has faced a wave of cancellations across its European leg in 2026.
As reported by VGC, several European venues have either canceled the show or removed it from their websites. This follows a round of US-based events removed from the concert’s tour for the rest of 2025, including venues in Chicago, New York, Boston, Philadelphia and more.
Those 2026 European tour dates appear to have originally been pushed back from this year. But screenings in March in Germany, Belgium and Switzerland have either been canceled or are no longer being shown at all.
One European venue that looks set to continue with the concert is the Laszlo Papp Arena in Budapest. Although it looks like most of the seats here are still for sale, potentially indicating low interest in PlayStation: The Concert as a whole.
In a statement to the VGC, Munich’s Olympiapark venue said: “Due to unforeseen reasons beyond our control, we regret to inform you that PlayStation: The Concert, scheduled for March 9, 2026 at the Olympic Hall in Munich, will not take place. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding at the original time of purchase.”
A direct reason for this wave of cancellations has not been given by Sony, but there is the potential that low ticket sales could have caused these European venues to get cold feet. That said, the show still looks set to tour in early 2026 at locations in Los Angeles and Toronto, among others.
We have reached out to Sony for an official comment on the cancellations, but have not heard back at the time of publishing this article
