King Charles’ hands are tied even if he wants to banish Prince Andrew permanently.
His Majesty will be unable to push his scandalous brother away any further because of his ironclad lease of the Royal Lodge at Windsor.
Royal author Andrew Lownie is calling for transparency about the situation.
He told The Times: “I understand that Prince Andrew did not inherit the Royal Lodge but was allowed to make a deal with the Crown Estate.
“I think it’s important for transparency that the full details of that arrangement be made public…
“…and why the property, which is in fact public property, was only offered to him,” he noted.
