COAS says Pakistan seeks regional peace, but any violation of the country’s territorial integrity will face a decisive response

Field Marshal Asim Munir has said that “all necessary action” is being taken against Indian-sponsored proxies – Fitna al Hindustan and Fitna al Khawarij – involved in propagating anti-people and anti-development agendas with the malicious intention of wreaking violence in Balochistan.
“All necessary actions are being taken to hunt down these terrorists and rid the province of this menace,” confirmed the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) while interacting with participants of the 17th National Workshop Balochistan, at the General Headquarters (GHQ) on Tuesday.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS reiterated that Pakistan seeks regional peace and stability; however, any violation of its territorial integrity, whether direct or indirect, will be met with a firm and decisive response to ensure the lives and welfare of its citizens.
During the interaction, Field Marshal Munir said that Balochistan is the pride of Pakistan, endowed with vibrant, resilient and patriotic people who represent the true wealth of the province.

The ISPR added that the army chief highlighted federal and provincial government initiatives aimed at uplifting the socio-economic landscape of Balochistan through a people-centric approach. He emphasized the importance of realizing the province’s enormous economic potential for the benefit of the people.
COAS also recognized the constructive role of civil society, particularly in engaging and empowering youth, and emphasized their central role in sustainable development. He said their active participation is essential to address set political agendas and ensure long-term prosperity of Balochistan.
