Ariana Grande credits ‘Wicked’ for rekindling her musical spark

Ariana Grande said that the process of making the film adaptation of Evil inspired her to continue making albums.

During an appearance on the latest episode of Shut up Evan podcast, the 32-year-old singer and actress revealed that she almost planned to end her music career before she did Wicket.

“I felt like a real spark, like a reconnection and inspiration and something, I mean, maybe I missed that,” Ariana said of the shoot Evil.

“Maybe it’s as simple as I missed it,” she continued. “But I feel like you have to miss things to learn to get better, you know what I mean? And I think I’ve learned so much.”
