Kate Middleton is backing her husband Prince William as they are determined to distance themselves from Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson.
According to royal sources, the Prince and Princess of Wales have urged King Charles to make changes and insist the monarchy must move forward without “favoritism or new controversy.”
The king, who continues treatment for cancer, is said to support their position but hopes to handle the matter discreetly.
talking with Radar onlinetold a royal aide: “William and Kate are completely on board with this.”
“They have told the king that things must change – the monarchy must move forward without favoritism or new controversy.
“In their opinion, Andrew and Sarah, who live at Royal Lodge, are keeping the family stuck in old scandals.”
Palace aides further revealed that the Welsh are increasingly taking charge as Charles scales back his duties.
“The Welsh are taking charge and drawing clear lines,” they said. “Kate, especially, is done with all the turmoil.
“She’s focused on protecting her family and securing the future of the monarchy – it’s about preserving what little credibility the institution still has.”
“She has endured such a difficult year and continues to show incredible resilience,” the insider continued.
“But seeing the same scandals resurface as she tries to recover has left her completely drained. All she wants now is for the family to finally move on.”
