Strands hit me today, for the second day in a row.
Luckily I managed to find plenty of words that weren’t puns, including the 9 letter “reception”. If I had looked harder at this stage, I might have spotted OPTION earlier. Instead, it took me a hint before I realized what the theme was.
After my first triumph I took another hint and thank God I did – because DRUTHERS is one of those words only found in New York Times puzzles and Stephen Fry novels.
