The COAS stressed that Pakistan seeks peace with all neighbors including Afghanistan but will not allow cross-border terrorism to be perpetrated from Afghan soil.

He highlighted that despite the continuation of cross-border terrorism from Afghanistan, over the past few years, Pakistan has shown patience and extended several diplomatic and economic measures to Afghanistan with the aim of improving Pak-Afghan bilateral relations.

But instead of acting decisively against Indian-sponsored terror proxies Fitna Al Khwarij and Fitna Al Hindustan, the Afghan Taliban regime has provided all possible help to these groups. The COAS assured the tribal elders that Pakistan, especially Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, will be cleansed of the terrorists and their accomplices.
