PML-N leader Khurram Dastgir has said that meaningful dialogue with PTI can only take place if the party shows "seriously" and sets public welfare "over personal or political interests". He made these remarks while talking to a private television channel on Sunday. He further criticized PTI for being "too focused" for the release of their chairman rather than meeting the pressing needs of the public. The PML-N leader noted that the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa were suffering due to rising terrorism and bad governance, which requires immediate attention of political parties.
