Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s Adviser Muzzammil Aslam said on Sunday that the Finance Ministry has issued a notification to release Rs3 billion for the Sehat Card program as per the directives of CM Sohail Afridi.
In a statement, the chief minister had expressed his concern over the suspension of funds for Sehat Card during his visit to Khyber Teaching Hospital, and directed affected districts to immediately release the funds.
Aslam stated that the health ministry was the top priority of the provincial government, adding that the KP finance department had allocated Rs 41 billion for the Sehat card this year compared to Rs 36 billion in the previous year.
