ISLAMABAD:

The Supreme Court on Tuesday adjourned the hearing of the KP stone crushing case to November 11.

A Constitutional Court chaired by Justice Aminud Din presided over the case and reviewed the submitted compliance report in light of the court’s July 11, 2024 order regarding stone crushing plants in the province.

During the hearing, the AAG told the court that KP has 903 crushing plants and monitoring of 879 has been completed.

According to the report, 230 plants are currently closed, while the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued various notices to 719 plants for various violations.
