ISPR says Fitna al Khwarij once again tried to repeat a barbaric act of terror carried out in APS Peshawar
DERA ISMAIL KHAN:
Security forces foiled a terrorist attack on Cadet College Wana, killing two terrorists and preventing a major tragedy reminiscent of the 2014 Army Public School attack in Peshawar.
According to security sources, terrorists tried to storm the college early in the morning. The attack began with a suicide blast at the main entrance, injuring 15 civilians and four security personnel. The injured security officials were identified as Naib Subedar Tabish, Lance Havaldar Shakeel and soldiers Abdullah and Waqas.
Officials confirmed that security forces responded quickly and engaged the attackers before they could enter the college premises. In the ensuing exchange of fire, two terrorists were killed. A clearance and search operation is currently underway in the surrounding area. Authorities said the militants intended to carry out a large-scale attack similar to the Army Public School tragedy, but timely intervention by security forces averted a major disaster.
After the attack, the entire area has been cordoned off. All students and staff at the cadet college remained safe, officials confirmed.
Local residents reported heavy gunfire after the explosion, while emergency services moved the injured to nearby hospitals. Security personnel continue to maintain strict vigilance in the region.

Meanwhile, Inter-Services Public Relations stated that terrorists belonging to Indian proxy Fitna al Khwarij attacked Cadet College Wana in South Waziristan District. The assailants attempted to breach the perimeter security; however, their sinister plans were quickly thwarted by the vigilant and resolute response of the troops.
In their desperation, the attackers rammed an explosive-laden vehicle at the main gate, resulting in the collapse of the main gate and damage to adjacent infrastructure, the military media wing said.
It added that the troops displayed unflinching courage and professional expertise engaged the intruders with precision and eliminated two khwarij belonging to the Indian deputy, Fitna al Khwarij. However, three Khwarij managed to enter the college premises, which have been surrounded in the administrative block of the college, the ISPR release said.
“The Khwarij who are hiding inside the university premises are in touch with their masters and leaders in Afghanistan and are getting instructions,” ISPR added.
It further stated that clearance operations are being conducted to eliminate remaining Indian-sponsored kharjis and added, “We will continue the relentless campaign against terrorism under the vision of “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by the Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by security forces and law enforcement agencies of Pakistan will continue at full speed from foreign terrorism and support of foreign terrorism.”
The blatant act of barbarism orchestrated by the Khwarij of Afghanistan contradicts claims by the Afghan Taliban regime, which claims that these terror groups are not present on their soil. Pakistan reserves the right to respond against terrorists and their leadership present in Afghanistan, the ISPR said.
“These khwarij belonging to the Indian proxy, Fitna al Khwarij, have again tried to repeat the barbaric act of terror carried out by them in Army Public School Peshawar in 2014,” ISPR noted.
It further stated that the terrorists aimed to instill fear in the young generation of former tribal areas who are acquiring quality education at their doorstep to excel in life and achieve a better future not only for themselves and their families but also for their communities.
