Jenna Bush Hager has admitted she dyed her hair to look like Claire Danes’ My so-called life character.
In a new chat with PEOPLE MagazineJenna Bush Hager revealed to Claire Danes that she once dyed her hair in middle school to look like Danes’ iconic character from the series.
During her appearance in the latest episode of Jenna and friendsadmitted the 43-year-old host that one of the Danes’ characters inspired her early hair transformation.
“I’ve had a bit of a crush on you for a long time, even in sixth grade when I got food coloring and dyed my hair to look. [like you],” Bush Hager told the Danes, referring to her role as Angela Chase in the beloved teen drama.
The TV personality even shared a side-by-side photo of herself as a child and the Danes’ character, both rocking the same auburn shade.
“I mean, please look, won’t the little person be the other little person?” she joked.
“It’s very sweet,” replied Danes, 46, before moving on to a new topic.
