- The TCL T7 Series TV comes in 55, 65, 75 and 85 inches
- Dolby Vision, HDR10+, Dolby Atmos and 144Hz
- $599 to $1399
TCL has announced the T7 series of Google TVs, and they come with astonishingly low prices: the 55-inch model starts at just $599.99, and the 85-inch range-topper comes in at a very low $1,399.99 — and that’s list priceso just imagine what will happen when Black Friday deals hit the market…
The price is especially impressive when you look at the specifications. Each TV comes with a variable refresh rate QLED screen and up to 144Hz on all but the smallest model (which can still manage 120Hz), so these can compete fiercely with the best gaming TVs if you’re on a budget.
TCL 7 Series: Key Features
The software here is Google TV, as is usual for TCL, with support for Chromecast and AirPlay 2, Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and Apple HomeKit, and the processor is TCL’s AIPQ PRO processor.
HDR support includes both Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and there’s support for Dolby Atmos. There are four HDMI ports including an eARC, and gamer-friendly features include VRR and ALLM (don’t expect all four ports to support these though).
Not all the specifications have been released yet – for example, we don’t know how bright the screens are – nor do we know the specific on-sale date.
But we’ve been very impressed with the TCL 6 Series TVs, which we described as good for gaming and “a good choice for everyone”, so if you’re looking for a mid-range TV, the 7 Series might be worth waiting for – although we expect TCL Black Friday deals to heat up soon, so keep an eye out for the TCL QM6K and TCL next week!
The prices for each model are:
- 55”: $599.99
- 65”: $699.99
- 75”: $899.99
- 85”: $1,399.99
