Meghan Markle subtly responds to haters with her Veterans Day post.
The Duchess of Sussex, who hailed her husband Prince Harry for serving in the British Army, is being hailed for her comeback amid criticism for not wearing a poppy.
Body language expert Judi James said: “Meghan’s ‘Once served, always serving’ sounds like a personal tribute to her husband here, especially as she even claims him as the source of the quote.”
“As a message to her husband of her continued admiration and respect, this post looks impeccable, although it could possibly have made him blush to see it star him above the millions of other options.”
She said: “The wording suggests it may also be intended to remind the public not only of Harry’s active service, but also of his claims of an ongoing ‘life of service’, despite leaving the Royal Family.”
“In light of the criticism of not wearing a poppy or the PR clash, this may also be an intended reminder that Harry is indeed one of the veterans that the day was about,” she noted.
