ISLAMABAD:

The newly created Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has issued its first list of cases, formally kicking off the trial under the newly created apex judicial forum.

Three benches of the FCC will begin hearing cases this week. Chief Justice FCC Justice Aminuddin Khan is set to start hearing cases from Monday (today), while Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi will also initiate the proceedings.

A separate two-member bench comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice KK Agha will also begin hearing cases from today. It is worth noting that CJ Aminuddin Khan on Friday issued his first major administrative order appointing key officials to the court.
