Ahead of the release, Peacock has dropped a new clip Evil: For good, showing a brief but exclusive preview.
The footage features Cynthia Erivo, Ariana Grande and Jeff Goldblum. In addition, the first reactions to the upcoming film have been glowing.
Reports say the musical sequel is expected to get 10 nominations, matching its predecessor, at the Academy Awards.
On the other hand, during the film’s promotion, Cynthia recalled seeing the Wicked show on Broadway, from which the screen version has been adapted, as a 25-year-old.
“I hadn’t seen the musical,” she says. “I saw it when I was 25 and took myself on a single date for my birthday, and the place that made me feel comfortable ended up being at it.”
Ariana, who plays Glinda, gushes about her role, revealing: “I think that spark of connection to my craft was also quite disconnected for a while. It really felt like safe to fall in love with creating again and like maybe I was being seen for the first time.”
Wicked: Too Good arrives on Nov 21
