- Galaxy Buds 4 Pro has just appeared in One UI 8.5
- It looks like a flatter, more compact design is on the way
- New features have also been leaked, including head movements
It looks like the successors to the Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 3 will appear sooner rather than later, and now animations hidden in One UI 8.5 have revealed the design and some of the key features of the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.
Spotted by the team at Android Authority, these animations show that the wireless earbuds have a more refined and curvy look compared to the current versions. It appears that the built-in LED lights have also been dropped.
The stems will apparently be flattened rather than following the triangular look of the Galaxy Buds Pro 3, and overall the design appears to be a bit more compact and straightforward – although they’re still very easy on the eye.
We also get a look at a charging case, which now appears to open all the way up instead of following an AirPods-style design. The Galaxy Buds 4 Pro are shown lying flat in the charging case in one of the animations.

As for features, one of the animations spotted by Android Authority shows that the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro will support head movements – something we’ve seen on other wireless earbuds, including the top-of-the-line Apple AirPods.
You’ll be able to use head gestures to answer or reject calls, dismiss alarms, hear notifications and interact with an AI assistant, it seems. This should come in handy when your hands are busy doing something else.
The animations also show that there will be various functions available by pressing and pinching the stems of the earphones as well. 360-degree recording, Adaptive Noise Control and Find Your Phone are also mentioned, all of which are available on the current model.
It’s not clear if this design and features will also be adopted by the standard Galaxy Buds 4, but it seems likely. Based on this and previous leaks, we should see the earphones appear alongside the Samsung Galaxy S26 early next year.
