Bandits demand Rs 10 million per abductee but offer to release the tracker dog for a lesser sum

The trackers, who track thieves by following footprints, have been abducted along with their dog and driver.
A tracking company from Faisalabad received a call from an area in Sindh requesting tracking dog services to locate a stolen tractor, according to Rahim Yar Khan SSP Irfan Samo. The tracking company contacted Chaudhry Jameel of Sadiqabad, Punjab, who was known in the Sindh-Punjab border region for tracking suspects with his dog.
The bandits from the Kacha area have demanded Rs10 million in ransom for each abductee, though they are willing to release the tracker dog in exchange for a smaller sum. In a video released by the bandits on social media, four men can be seen half-naked as they plead for their release.

Chaudhry Jameel, Abdul Khaliq, Rafiq Solangi and Adnan belong to Sadiqabad area. On November 12, Jameel received a call from Noman in Faisalabad, after which they began preparations for a new assignment to search for a missing tractor in the Panno Khan Colony area of Sindh. On November 13, Jameel and two of his associates rented a vehicle from Sadiqabad’s stand. Since then, the tracking team has had no contact with anyone.
After waiting for two days, Jameel’s son filed a missing person’s report at the Ahmedpur Lamma police station in Rahim Yar Khan. He alleged that Noman, who had been in constant contact with Jameel from Faisalabad, did not provide satisfactory answers regarding Jameel’s disappearance.
Samo said that the bandits and the abducted spurs are in the Sindh Kacha area. According to call data records (CDR) obtained by the police, Jameel and his companions are detained between Gudu Barrage and Kashmore. The kidnapping took place in the Murid Shah area of Sindh, which is near Ubaro.

In response to a question, the SSP said that the abductees and their families are residents of Sadiqabad. Therefore, the case has been registered in Punjab, even though the crime scene is in Sindh.
Kashmore Police stated that a targeted operation is underway in Kashmore and Gudu areas following information about the presence of the bandits and the abductees.
