The federal government has decided to convene meetings of both the National Assembly and the Senate next week, where key legislation is expected to be tabled as part of a coordinated parliamentary push, sources said on Friday.
The two houses of parliament are likely to meet on November 27, with officials considering the possibility of convening both sessions simultaneously to streamline the legislative agenda.
Sources said the upcoming meetings of the National Assembly and the Senate will focus on “important legislation”.
