Princess Kate had a little scene-stealer during her visit to Anna Freud’s children’s mental health charity, and he wasn’t shy about making his debut.
While chatting with parents and greeting the little ones, the Princess of Wales suddenly found her finger claimed by a curious baby, who immediately gave it a good chew.
She burst out laughing and happily let the tot hang around as she played along in the adorable moment.
Kate visited The Royal Foundation Center for Early Childhood to launch a new project with Anna Freud aimed at strengthening the skills of healthcare providers to support early development.
The engagement follows her recent speech at the Future Workforce Summit, where she emphasized how crucial stable, loving relationships are in creating the environments children need to flourish.
Her outing also marked the official announcement of a new partnership between the Center for Early Childhood and Anna Freud, although it’s safe to say the baby may have been the partnership’s unofficial mascot for the day, proudly clutching his royal souvenir.
Proudly serving as Patron for nine years, Kate continues to champion the mission of ensuring every young person gets the right support at the right time.
