Dwayne Johnson recently penned a heartwarming note to Jumanji co-star Karen Gillan on her birthday.
The Rock took to Instagram and posted a video of him and the cast and crew celebrating Karen’s birthday from the set of the upcoming film on Friday, November 28.
In the clip, Smash Machine actor could be seen singing the birthday song while Kevin Hart held a cake and looked scared.
Calling the Scottish actress “cool”, Dwayne wrote: “Happy birthday to the one and only @karengillan.”
“So cool that we could celebrate you on your special day from our set Jumanjisaid the 53-year-old.
Red message The actor also took a funny dig at Kevin, saying: “I was hoping the cake would make Kevin explode like he does in our movie – but no such luck.”
Finally, Dwayne added, “HBD KG! We love you.”
Karen also thanked The Rock during the post, writing: “Awww, thanks DJ! Love you guys! PS- I never know what to do with my hands during the Happy Birthday song.”
Most of Dwayne’s followers also poked fun at Kevin’s antics with one saying: “Kevin looks so terrified of the cake.”
“Why did Hart look scared holding the cake?” noted another user.
A third commented: “Why does Kevin look like he’s either scared of the cake or it’s too heavy,” with a loud laugh emoji.
Meanwhile Jumanji 4 is scheduled to premiere in theaters on December 11, 2026.
