Tara Reid’s case saw a major development as the investigation continues after she was rushed to hospital last month.
Authorities say they have found no video evidence to support Reid’s claim that she was drugged in a Chicago hotel bar.
The Rosemont Public Safety Department confirmed, “While video surveillance showed Tara Reid in the hotel bar, at no time did the video show anyone tampering with or adding anything to her drink.”
According to Rosemont police, the bartenders covered her glass as she stepped away, which police described as standard practice.
However, officials are still awaiting hospital records to determine if and which chemical test was performed.
Without these test results, police cannot confirm whether or not she was drugged.
“We are working with Tara Reid to receive the records that she has also not received,” the statement continued.
“Pending those results or any further information that comes to light, our detectives will follow up on those leads accordingly.”
It has also been revealed that they have found ‘no criminal activity has been committed’ and the investigation into Redi’s allegations does not currently involve questioning any individual.
However American Pie The actress insisted after the initial results of the examination that she was ‘incapacitated’ for more than eight hours after consuming a drink.
“The bottom line is that no one ends up in hospital incapacitated for over 8 hours after a drink,” she said.
“Last thing I remember is having a drink and waking up in hospital the next day with no memory,” Reid added, calling the ordeal ‘the most terrifying feeling I’ve ever felt’.
