Joe Jonas is setting the record straight after a fan suggested the Jonas Brothers might be taking on new projects due to financial issues.
The comment came after the trailer Camp Rock 3 dropped, sparking buzz and some wild speculation online.
A social media user reshared the trailer on X and asked, “Real question, are the Jonas Brothers in serious debt or something?”
Joe quickly responded, shutting down the speculation with a nostalgic reference.
“God forbid connect 3 go back to where connect 3 connected,” he tweeted, referencing the famous line Kevin delivered in the first film.
Joe, Kevin and Nick have been in the spotlight together since 2005, and now they return as Connect 3 again for the new Disney sequel.
They will reprise their roles as Shane, Jason and Nate Gray while also serving as executive producers.
Demi Lovato, who starred in the original films as Mitchie Torres, is also producing, although her on-screen involvement has not been confirmed.
The official teaser shows the trio returning to the musical summer camp where it all began.
“Music, friendship, memories,” Nick says in the preview — followed by Joe’s line: “We’re back. Right where we should be.”
Fans can expect Camp Rock 3 to hit screens in the summer of 2026.
The synopsis promises a familiar yet fresh story, Connect 3 heads back to Camp Rock after losing a major reunion tour, determined to discover “the next big thing.”
With the brothers clearly excited to revisit the franchise, Joe’s message was simple, they’re doing it for the love of where their story started, not for the money.
