ISLAMABAD:
Allama Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi has been appointed as the chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CII), a release from the Ministry of Law and Justice said on Saturday.
Previously, Naeemi served as Acting Chair of CII since May 2024.
Now he has been appointed as a member and chairman of the Council.
“The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has also been pleased to appoint Allama Muhammad Raghib Hussain Naeemi as the Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology,” the announcement read.
