Pakistan, UK hold ministerial level talks

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan and the UK on Tuesday convened the Pakistan-UK ministerial level development talks to promote a partnership of mutual interest.

These were the first development talks at ministerial level since 2017. The talks were led by Federal Minister for Economic Affairs Ahad Khan Cheema and the UK Secretary of State for International Development and Africa, Baroness Chapman of Darlington, Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

Bilal Azhar Kiyani, Finance Minister and Mrs. Jane Marriott, British High Commissioner in Pakistan, besides senior government officials were also present in the talks.
