More than 714,000 children have been vaccinated in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, while Islamabad has covered 450,000 children and Gilgit-Baltistan 274,000, according to the EOC.
The National EOC has called on parents and communities to support polio workers and ensure children receive the vaccine that protects against the incurable disease that can cause lifelong paralysis.
