ISLAMABAD:
The Election Commission of Pakistan on Tuesday summoned the polling officer, the district officer and the district police officer over allegations of fraud in the NA-185 constituency.
A four-member bench of the poll watchdog headed by its Sindh member was hearing the petition filed by NA-185 candidate Sardar Dost Khosa.
The commission directed the board of representatives to submit a detailed report on the case, while the hearing was adjourned until January 7.
The petitioner was represented by his lawyer Latif Khosa. The commission has also summoned the winning candidate from NA-185 to appear in the case.
