- The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 has appeared in another leaked image
- A launch of the vlogging camera shouldn’t be far off now
- It may well come with an optional wireless remote control accessory
It looks like we won’t be seeing the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 vlogging camera being replaced before the end of 2025, but another image of its successor has leaked online, along with details of a brand new accessory to accompany it.
Tipster @OsitaLV (via Notebookcheck) has posted a fresh image of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 (the leftmost camera in the image below), along with its predecessor (the middle camera) and an unidentified camera on the far right that we can’t quite see.
The changes we’ve seen in previous leaks are once again visible here: There’s a larger camera body, which we believe is suitable for a dual-lens setup, as well as additional physical buttons below the rotating viewfinder screen.
Could the camera on the far right be a single lens version of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4? It’s hard to say, and we haven’t heard too many rumors about multiple variants of this camera – although it’s certainly possible that standard and pro versions will be offered.
An included accessory
We expected the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 to break cover before the end of the year, but that doesn’t seem to be happening now. Word from those in the know is that quality control issues have meant the camera has been delayed until 2026.
Further complicating matters, new DJI products are now banned in the US as of December 23rd. It looks like the new camera won’t launch there at all, although previously purchased DJI kits should continue to work as normal.
We’ve also heard that the DJI Osmo Pocket 4 may come with new accessories: New Camera (again via Notebookcheck) discovered that something called the DJI Osmo FrameTap has been registered with the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) in the US.
How it fits into the US ban isn’t clear – but the listing suggests it’s a wireless remote that comes with the camera. Given the number of leaks we’ve seen so far, it shouldn’t be too long before these devices are made official.
