At the police lines, a Christmas cake was cut together with members of the Christian community

Special gifts, cash grants and other facilities were given to the Christian community ahead of Christmas, making the occasion an atmosphere of joy even before the festive day.
The district administration and Bhakkar police actively participated in the celebrations and took practical steps to ensure that members of the Christian community could celebrate their religious festival in a safe, respectful and cheerful environment.
Special ceremonies were organized separately at Police Lines Bhakkar and Deputy Commissioner’s office where members of the Christian community, peace committee members, district and police officers, civil society representatives and students participated in large numbers.
At the Police Lines, Christmas cake was cut together with members of the Christian community, while at the Deputy Commissioner’s office cash prizes, gifts and Eidi were distributed among Christian families and children.
District Police Officer (DPO) Bhakkar Shahzad Rafiq Awan also distributed cash rewards among Christian officers and staff of the police department and presented gifts to children to share in their happiness.
