Cristiano Ronaldo fires Al-Nassr to historic 10th win in a row

Cristiano Ronaldo scored twice to secure Al-Nassr’s record 10th successive Saudi Pro league win.

The Saudi Arabian Football Club defeated Al Akhdoud 3-0 on Saturday 27 December.

With this win, AL-Nassr is gearing up for a perfect start to the season, placing itself four points clear at the top of the table.

The Portuguese superstar opened the scoring just after the half hour, arriving at the back post to tap in a headed assist from Angelo Gomes.

He doubled the lead in the first half with a moment of pure instinct, deftly sending a Marcelo Brozovic pass into the net with the side of his boot.

Ronaldo could not reach the hat-trick, denying a seventh Saudi Pro League in the second half with a strict offside call, but compatriot João Félix provided a dominant finish and added a third goal in the closing hour.

With this victory, Al-Nassr maintained a historic streak and showed a big step in Ronaldo’s quest for his first league title in Saudi Arabia since his blockbuster move in 2023.
