PM hails security forces for successful operation against terrorists, says entire nation stands with forces
Security forces killed four terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy Fitna al Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s Kalat district, the military’s media wing said in a statement.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was conducted on Saturday following reports of terrorists associated with Fitna al Hindustan in the area.
“During the execution of the operation, our troops effectively engaged the location of the terrorists. After an intense exchange of fire, four Indian-sponsored terrorists were neutralized,” ISPR said.
The military added that arms, ammunition and explosives were recovered from the slain terrorists who were actively involved in several terrorist activities in the area. Decontamination operations continued to ensure that no other Indian-sponsored terrorists remained in the vicinity.
The ISPR stated that the counter-terrorism campaign would continue at full pace under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam”, as endorsed by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, to eliminate the menace of foreign sponsored terrorism in the country.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif hailed the security forces for the successful operation against terrorists associated with Fitna al Hindustan in Kalat.
The Prime Minister lauded the killing of four terrorists and said the security forces achieved major successes against terrorism. “The entire nation stands with Pakistan’s armed forces in this war against terrorism,” he said, adding that the country would be free from all forms of terrorism.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also praised the security forces for the intelligence-based operation in Kalat. “The security forces are determined to eliminate Fitna al Khawarij in Balochistan,” he said, adding that the brave personnel had brought four terrorists to an exemplary end.
He said the timely and effective action of the security forces in Kalat was commendable and described their role in ensuring peace and stability in Balochistan as unforgettable.
