ISLAMABAD:
The National Assembly’s Standing Committee on Economic Affairs on Tuesday noted that the EU’s Generalized Schemes of Preference (GSP)-Plus played a significant role in Pakistan’s economic growth.
The panel also briefed that the European Union’s GSP-Plus plays a central role in supporting Pakistan’s sustainable economic growth by providing enhanced trade preferences aimed at promoting sustainable development and adherence to 27 international conventions on human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and good governance.
