A nice and cozy game to remind us of the pleasures of being indoors in the heart of winter.
The words in today’s quest immediately made me think of a fantasy version of a grandparent’s house, the reality of which tends to be quite different for most of us.
As I played it, I thought that all these words could form the basis of a great themed restaurant, where instead of tables and chairs, everyone would sit in rocking chairs next to a fireplace with a BLANKET (or cat) on their lap, while they get cups of COCOA and cookies.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Thursday, January 1st, Game #669)
- BOLD
- STRONG
- AROMATIC
- SMOOTH
- NECESSARY
- BITTER
- VELVET
- SPANGRAM: COFFEE
