LAHORE:
The ECP has issued a revised by-election notification on the vacant Punjab Assembly seat PP-167 Lahore announcing changes in the polling date and election schedule.
According to the announcement, the polling for the by-election will now be held on February 4 instead of the earlier announced date of February 8. Candidates will be able to submit their nomination papers from January 7 to January 9, while the first list of candidates will be published on January 9.
The review of nomination papers will be completed on January 12. The final list of candidates along with the allocation of election symbols will be issued on January 24, the release said.
