- New LG Stage 501, Blast, Mini and Rock models will arrive in 2026
- FYI.RAiDiO integration and AI sound enhancement
- Up to 220W power in the largest models
LG’s xboom speakers, developed in collaboration with will.i.am, are tons of fun – and in 2026 there will be four new models to join some of our favourites, such as the party-starting xboom Stage 301 and the fun xboom Grab.
The names of the new models give a big clue to their function: xboom Stage 501, Blast, Mini and Rock together cover all the sound bases from rocking parties to travel-friendly portables. All models promise “AI-powered intelligence” including automatic leveling, automatic light sync, and in the Stage and Blast models, automatic room compensation.
LG xboom 2026 speakers: what’s new
First up is the xboom Stage 501, a party speaker with up to 220W when connected to power and 160W on battery. That battery is huge, delivering up to 25 hours of playback, and it powers two woofers, full-range drivers and tweeters. The cabinet is five-sided, so it can stand vertically, tilt or be mounted on a stand to suit the space. It also has a karaoke mode, AI Karaoke Master, which can remove vocals “from virtually any song” as well as adjust the pitch to make it easier to sing along.
xboom Blast shares the same 99Wh battery, this time delivering up to 35 hours. It’s a more portable but no less powerful option, delivering up to 220W with big bass thanks to three passive radiators.
xboom Mini is much smaller and designed for smaller spaces and listening on the go. It can play for up to 10 hours between charges and is both water and dust resistant to IP67. There is a built-in tripod mount and a “Magic Strap” for flexible placement and transport.
Last but not least, there is the rugged military-grade speaker called the xboom Rock. It is an upgrade to the current XG2 with up to 10 hours of playback, Bluetooth LE Audio with Auracast and upgraded output of 6W.
The previous xboom models were this close to landing on our list of the best Bluetooth speakers, and we really like them – we’ll see if the new models can improve further.
We expect to hear more details at CES 2026, hopefully including pricing and availability.
