NEW Strands today (game #679) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #679, are…
- WHOOPEE
- HUZZAH
- BOOYA
- HOORAY
- YIPPE
- FANTASTIC
- SPANGRAM: THAT’S GREAT
- My assessment: Hard
- My score: 1 tip
Although I was fully aware of today’s theme, I lacked the enthusiasm to carry it out without help.
After getting two optimistic words I drew a blank and lay down before a hint gave BOOYAH – one thing missing from today’s search is exclamation points as all the words look wrong without them.
This was also a collection that is fun to say and imagine the kind of things that are worth saying a hearty HUZZAH! to.
Yesterday’s NYT Strand’s Answer (Saturday, January 10, Game #678)
- SOON
- EVENTUALLY
- LATER
- TOMORROW
- ABOUT SOON
- SPANGRAM: PROCRASTINATOR
