The Pakistan Bar Council (PBC) has strongly condemned a character assassination campaign targeting two women judges of the Lahore High Court (LHC).
PBC Vice Chairman Tahir Nasrullah Warraich on Saturday issued a statement saying the allegations against the judges – Chief Justice Aalia Neelum and Justice Abher Gul Khan – are an attack on the prestige and dignity of the judiciary as an institution.
He urged that the NCCIA take immediate action against vloggers involved in the campaign, register FIRs against them and deal with them with iron fist.
