- Marvel has revealed the fourth teaser for Avengers: Doomsday
- It reveals a team MCU fans have been waiting to see
- This might be the last trailer we see for a while
The fourth – and probably last (for now anyway) – teaser for Avengers: Doomsday has been released online by Marvel Studios.
Starting today (January 13), our latest look at the Marvel Phase 6 movie, as expected after last week’s leak, centers on a meeting between the Wakandans and The Fantastic Four. In fact, the final shot of the teaser shows Shuri, aka the Black Panther, and Wakanda King M’Baku exchanging pleasantries with Ben Grimm/The Thing.
Look at
It’s a meeting that marks the official arrival of The Fantastic Four into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Yes, they have already appeared in a Marvel Studios production in the 2025s The Fantastic Four: First Steps film. But that movie was set in an alternate reality, so Doomsday is the first time we’ll see Marvel’s First Family interact with the heroes that populate the MCU.
Of course, Shuri and M’Baku’s encounter with The Thing begs the question: how will The Fantastic Four make the jump to the MCU? My article explains The Fantastic Four: First Steps‘ ending suggests a few theories, as does the post-credits scene of another 2025 MCU film in Thunderbolts. You can read about that in my Thunderbolts concluding explained paragraph.
In any case Doomsday‘s fourth teaser also reunites us with another super-powered individual in Namor. The ruler of the underwater kingdom known as Talokan was also announced as part of Avengers: Doomsday‘s first 27-man cast last March. Given his ties to the MCUs Black Panther film series – he was the primary antagonist of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever – It is also not a surprise to see him put in the spotlight.
For some Marvel fans, releasing a teaser featuring these characters may seem like an odd move.
However, Black Panther and The Fantastic Four have an extensive history dating back to the former’s Marvel Comics debut in ‘Fantastic Four #52’ in July 1966. Meanwhile, Namor has shared a complicated relationship with Sue Storm and Reed Richards dating back to 1962’s ‘Fantastic Four #4’, which introduced a comic love triangle to this day.
Will Marvel reference this romantic triad in one of 2026’s most exciting new movies? We’ll find out when Avengers: Doomsday lands in theaters on December 18.
Will there be more Avengers: Doomsday trailers?
As I discussed last week Avengers: Doomsday teaser #3 article, we can’t say for sure. However, like the live video above, which was first broadcast Doomsday‘s fourth teaser, shows it ending with a Marvel-style Doomsday Clock counting down towards the film’s release date. Based on the telling evidence, it doesn’t look like there will be any more character-led teasers to look forward to.
The Korean classification board from which the first details emerged Doomsday‘s first four teasers had recently sparked a fresh wave of new trailer excitement. In fact, it dropped another teaser on December 30, 2025, and then two more on January 6 and January 8 — events that have MCU fans speculating about the release of more new footage.
However, as some people pointed out in r/leaksrumors and r/marvelstudiospoilers threads, it’s likely that additional teasers will only feature clips from the previously released trailers. However, that hasn’t stopped others from hoping that three new small trailers will appear in the coming weeks, before Doomsday‘s first full trailer will potentially debut during the 2026 Super Bowl.
At the time of publication, it looks like the “no more teasers” crowd has been proven right. However, I suppose we’ll find out if that’s really the case if a fifth Avengers: Doomsday teaser is leaking online very soon. Until then, stay tuned for everything we know about it so far Avengers: Doomsday.
