- Arc Raiders Update 1.11.0 has arrived
- It adds a new cosmetic set and makes balancing changes to the cauldron and Trigger ‘Nades
- Trigger ‘Nades had quickly become a commonly used throwing weapon and are now much less effective against other Raiders
Arc Raiders just received its first balancing update of 2026. Update 1.11.0 is now live across all platforms and primarily makes changes to Trigger ‘Nades and the Kettle.
Trigger ‘Nades had been a major point of contention for Arc Raiders community lately, where many believe they are too powerful in PvP. Now, Trigger ‘Nades are less powerful, as described in a recent Arc Raiders blog post:
“This nerf aims to make it less useful as a ‘trigger-in-air’ grenade, while retaining its usefulness as a sticky bomb. The damage drop has been rebalanced to concentrate damage closer to the center of the explosion and deal less damage further away.”
The post continues: “The delay between triggering the grenade and detonating has been increased from 0.7s to 1.5s, giving players more time to react and making it harder to time the detonation in mid-air.”
The kettle weapon has also seen a small nerf, though it’s unlikely to affect most players. The rate of fire has been decreased from 600 to 450, aimed at discouraging PC players who used macros to fire the weapon at impossibly high speeds:
“Reduced rate of fire from 600 to 450. The previous rate of fire was only realistically available to players using macros, creating an unfair dynamic that favors the use of third-party software.”
A new cosmetic set called Abyss has also been added to the store. It has a diving theme with flippers and a tight-fitting helmet. Finally, a key card exploit has been patched and the lighting has been lowered in some areas of Stella Montis.
Arc Raiders is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The Cold Snap update just finished, ending the Flickering Flames event and the Expedition Departure Window.
If you are logged in Arc Raiders anytime between launch and January 13, 2026, you can claim a free Golden Raider tool. Be sure to check your eligibility next time you play.
