Chase Infiniti is taking more than just accolades from her time working with Leonardo DiCaprio on the critically acclaimed new film, One match after another.
speaks to Page six winning the National Board of Review’s Breakthrough Performance award in New York, the 25-year-old actress revealed the quiet but abiding advice she absorbed from the Oscar winner while filming the dark comedy thriller, set for release in September 2025.
“I think one of the best pieces of advice I got was honestly just watching him on set and seeing his gentle leadership and just complete kindness,” Infiniti reflected. “I think it’s — whether it was something that was spoken directly to me or not — I think it’s something I’ll cherish and carry with me for the rest of my life.”
The breakout actress makes her film debut as DiCaprio’s on-screen daughter in the Paul Thomas Anderson-directed hit, which also stars Sean Penn, Teyana Taylor, Benicio del Toro and Regina Hall.
The role was physically demanding, but one she fully embraced. “A lot of bruises, a lot of cuts, but it was 1,000 percent rewarding,” she said. “It’s a chance I’m not going to take lightly and I’m going to make sure I don’t waste it.”
