ISLAMABAD:

Members of Parliament across all parties sounded the alarm on Saturday about the growing influence of social media, calling for laws similar to those in other nations and agreeing on the need for swift, responsible action to ensure social media is used for the good of society and the country’s future.

Speaking exclusively to a local media news channel, members of parliament highlighted the need for social media laws to protect young people, drawing inspiration from successful international legislation.
