She has joined the team to replace Dr. Robby (Noah Wyle), while on sabbatical for the next three months, quickly insists on shadowing him to ‘learn’ how to steer the ship. However, this is thinly veiled code for “actually, I want to change all current processes before you even step a toe out the door”.
