The Ozone 3K could be the iPhone Air battery pack you’ve been waiting for

• Ozone 3K and Ozone 5K are considered the world’s thinnest magnetic power banks
• With a thickness of only 4.98 mm, the Ozone 3K is even thinner than the iPhone Air

While most MagSafe battery packs will work with the iPhone Air, due to its different design from other iPhones, they won’t necessarily fit perfectly – except for the few designed specifically for Apple’s super-slim smartphone. But even those designed for that can be a tad thick, which isn’t ideal when the whole point of this phone is to be thin. But a new battery pack addresses that.

Dubbed Ozone 3K, this is only 4.98 mm thick, which according to Kopplen (the company behind) makes it the world’s thinnest magnetic power bank. Although not easy to verify, it is certainly slimmer than the approximately 7.7mm thick official iPhone Air MagSafe battery or the similarly thick Anker Nano Power Bank. And it’s also thinner than the 5.6mm iPhone Air itself.

Of course, being so slim, the Ozone 3K doesn’t have a huge capacity, with its 3,000mAh power delivering a 62% charge to the iPhone Air, although there’s also an Ozone 5K which can give it a full charge, but comes in at a thicker 6.49mm.
